As of August 2021, all UCI LAW faculty, staff and UCI Law students must have two factor authentication turned on for all UCI campus resources. This includes access to campus WIFI, Canvas, and campus licensed programs such as Zoom. If you have not setup DUO two factor on your mobile device, please visit https://www.oit.uci.edu/duo/. For further questions on DUO, please contact the main OIT helpdesk at (949) 824-1434.
Reminder about backing up files
Remember to back up your outlines/documents for all of your classes! The LawNet Google docs is available to upload documents to for backup purposes. You can also use other third party tools such as One Drive, DropBox, etc. or you can use an external hard drive. Be sure to have multiple places where you are storing your files so that if one source is corrupted, you have a backup copy somewhere else. Note: this recommendation is for backup of your own personal documents. For proper backup and storage of attorney/client information used in any of the law school clinics, please refer to the clinic student handbook.
