Note re Fall 2021: At this time, our physical offices are open but Team Admissions and Aid is working both in the office and from home. Access to the law school continues to be strictly limited in order to prioritize the wellness of current students, staff, and faculty. Currently, only registered UCI Law students are allowed in the law buildings.

At this time, we are working through our ability to host in-person tours or other in-person prospective applicant events later this fall semester.  We will update this and other Admissions pages with all your options to “Experience UCI Law.”

Experience UCI Law (Virtually)

While we are unable to physically welcome you to UCI Law’s campus, this will not prevent you from learning more about UCI Law. The UCI Law community transcends walls, we exist throughout California, the United States, and the world.

Below are ways for you to interact with our current students, our community partners and, of course, our Admissions & Aid Team. Our goal is to introduce you to our wonderful community as a prospective student and applicant. We will keep adding to the opportunities as they are scheduled.

In keeping with the guidelines from the Office of the Chancellor, campus tours remain suspended.

Virtual “Drop-In” Advising Hours

UCI Law seeks to empower its students. That empowerment comes while you are still an applicant. Even though Admissions Counselors cannot review prepared statements for an applicant, we are happy to answer any questions you may have about applying to UCI Law. While we are always available via e-mail at, we have “drop-in” advising hours so you can hop on anytime we are available. Please understand that anything discussed in these meetings will have no bearing on the application review process.

Please note that the fall 2021 drop-in advising hours will begin on Monday, September 27 and conclude on Friday, December 17. There will be no drop-in advising hours on Thursday, November 11 as UCI Law is closed for Veterans Day. UCI Law is also closed on Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

  • Monday: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PST

Student Financial Services
We also offer additional advising if you have any questions regarding financing a legal education at UCI Law. You can email our Student Financial Services team with any questions at and speak with them during a drop-in advising session. Financial Aid drop-in advising hours will occur every Tuesday starting on September 28 and concluding on Tuesday, December 14.

  • Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PST

To register: If you would like to take advantage of our virtual drop-in advising and speak with a member of our Admissions & Student Financial Services team, you must register so that we may send you a link that is valid for anytime during our fall 2021 drop-in advising schedule. Register
