PLEASE NOTE: UCI Law has instituted policy of telecommuting for the entire law school community. The best way to reach a member of the Admissions Team is to e-mail admissions@law.uci.edu. If you have any financial aid or scholarship questions, e-mail finaid@law.uci.edu. Please allow 48-72 hours for response.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, and other unforeseen issues with the application portal, UCI Law will accept applications for Fall 2021 admission until 11:59:59 PM (Pacific) on Friday, April 30.

Experience UCI Law (Virtually)

While we are unable to physically welcome you to UCI Law’s campus, this will not prevent you from learning more about UCI Law. The UCI Law community transcends walls, we exist throughout California, the United States, and the world.

We are planning ways for you to interact with our current students, our community partners and, of course, our Admissions & Aid Team. Our goal is to introduce you to our wonderful community as a prospective student and applicant. We will keep adding to the opportunities as they are scheduled.

In keeping with the guidelines from the Office of the Chancellor, campus tours remain suspended.

“Drop-In” Advising Hours with Admissions and Student Financial Services

UCI Law seeks to empower it's students. That empowerment comes while you are still an applicant. Even though Admissions Counselors cannot review prepared statements for an applicant, we are happy to answer any questions you may have about applying to UCI Law. While we are always available via e-mail at admissions@law.uci.edu, we have “drop-in” advising hours so you can hop on anytime we are available. We just ask that you register and you’ll receive a link that is valid for any time we are online. These sessions are rotationally staffed by everyone in the Office of Admissions. Please understand that anything discussed in these meetings will have no bearing on the application review process. (Please reregister if you attended Fall 2020 advising hours.)

We are able to offer some additional advising times leading up to the March 17th application deadline. These times will be exclusively staffed by Admissions Counselors. To reach members of our Student Financial Services team, please e-mail finaid@law.uci.edu.

UCI Law 101 Information Sessions

To help navigate you through the admissions process, Dean Gapasin Tortal and Director Eraca will host information session webinars “UCI Law 101” every month. During these sessions, you’ll hear about the programs and opportunities available at UCI Law, receive an introduction to the application process, and learn how to put together a successful application beyond your numbers. Some webinars will have a particular focus, noted on the schedule. Scheduling is in progress.

International Applicant Advising & Information Sessions

We know our prospective international law students have unique needs and we seek to meet them. In collaboration with the Chinese Law Student Society (CLSS), Dean Gapasin Tortal will be hosting special advising and information sessions specifically for our international population. Any prospective student from outside the United States is welcome to hop into these sessions. Scheduling is in progress.

Meet our UCI Law Community

The UCI Law community is so much more than Team “Admissions and Aid”, and we could never do them justice on our own. Some of our collaboration partners have agreed to host chats or webinars (depending on the number of people who sign up – our Zoom license can only hold so many!) so you can get your questions answered first-hand by our dynamic and accessible colleagues and your potential future classmates across UCI Law. Scheduling is in progress.
