Outside of this window, programming is reserved exclusively for admitted students. If you’ve been admitted and are interested in connecting with us—virtually or in person—please visit the Admitted Student Website. Details and access information will be included in your admissions packet.

Coffee, Chat & Connection

At UC Irvine Law, we love our coffee—but even more, we love connecting with prospective students. Our Coffee, Chat & Connection Series offers a relaxed yet informative way to explore what makes UC Irvine Law unique. Over coffee, you'll get a closer look at our community, admissions process, and campus culture.

During this approximately 90-minute event, you'll:

  • Enjoy casual conversation with our community in our courtyard.

  • Learn about the admissions process.

  • Hear directly from current students during a panel discussion.

  • Take a guided tour of the law school.

  • Have the opportunity for a one-on-one chat with an Admissions team member.

Whether you're just starting to explore law schools or narrowing down your list, this event is a great way to experience UC Irvine Law in action.

Please note: only one guest is allowed per registrant.

Personalized Virtual Advising

Personalized Virtual Advising

We understand that some students may prefer asking quick questions or having more in-depth conversations in a one-on-one setting. That’s why we offer virtual appointments with our Admissions & Student Financial Services teams. If you're interested in learning more about student life, we can also connect you with current students who are eager to share their experiences.

While we’re happy to answer your questions and provide guidance, please note that we’re unable to make predictions about your chances of admission.

Admissions staff offer 20-minute virtual appointments that are intended to answer your questions. We ask that if you schedule an appointment, that you come prepared with specific questions. A nything discussed in these meetings will have no bearing on the application review process and appointments should not be seen as an interview.

Vanessa Martinez > Colleen Roney >  Ben Kwak >

Our Student Financial Services staff are here to help educate you on how to finance your legal education and budget while in law school. In this 20-minute appointment, you should come prepared with questions on topics such as merit scholarships, need-based grants, outside scholarship opportunities, debt management, loan repayment forgiveness programs, or anything else related to financing.

Nasreen Zia >     Jennifer Terrazas >

If you prefer to connect with our Ambassadors individually, you can make that request via our Admissions Ambassadors website. Because our Ambassadors are volunteers and full-time law students, conversations will mostly be via email. However, if Ambassador’s schedule allows, they may be able to schedule a brief virtual appointment.

Pre-Law Societies

Pre-Law Societies

We welcome undergraduate Pre-Law Societies to connect with UC Irvine Law—either virtually or in person. We’re happy to host local organizations on our campus, or if scheduling allows, we can come to you.

Our team also offers virtual presentations tailored to your group’s interests. Whether you’d like an overview of UC Irvine Law or a deeper dive into the law school admissions process, we’re here to support and engage with your community.

Let’s start the conversation—we’d love to hear from you!
