VII. Library

During semesters of active teaching, you may access the Law Library during regular operating hours. Your Law School keycard is required at all Law Library entrances.

Library building and reference hours are listed here: Law Library Hours

The Library’s faculty service program is available to you in relation to your teaching at the Law School.

Send requests to request@law.uci.edu for:

  • Document Delivery and Book Retrieval;

  • Interlibrary Loan assistance;

  • Requests for LexisNexis and Westlaw passwords, and support for other online resources;

  • Course Reserves; and

  • Reference questions and short-term research projects.

Please include as much information as possible in your request, including the desired deadline. We will accommodate your requests to the best of our ability based on our current workload, and will follow up if more information is needed.

Faculty services are available during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Christina Tsou, Head of Public Services, at (949) 824-1430 or ctsou@law.uci.edu.

The Law Library will set up Lexis and Westlaw accounts for those actively teaching. Note that Law Library policy and contractual obligations with Lexis and Westlaw require that you use your UCI Law accounts exclusively as tools for class preparation and other educational purposes, and only during the semester that you are actively teaching at the Law School.
