  • Connor Bills

    Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Associate, PWC

    Connor Bills recently graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at University of Utah. Connor was a senior member of the Utah Law Review and served as President of the S.J. Quinney Business Law Society. Additionally, he was able to further his passion for tax law as a research assistant for Professor Young Ran (Christine) Kim. In his spare time, Connor enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two kids.

  • Anne Boyer

    Tax Associate - ITS, PwC

    Anne Boyer graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law. As a law student and co-vice president of the Tax & Estate Planning Society (TEPS), she led the club's effort to launch an IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site with the support of the law school and other organizations.  As a TEPS board member, she emphasized the importance of taxation issues to fellow students by organizing tax panels featuring prominent members of the SF Bay Area tax community. Anne's most rewarding experience in law school was helping those in need as a student attorney at the Low Income Tax Clinic. Her passion for tax lies primarily in international taxation, especially as it relates to intellectual property and cutting-edge technology.

  • Grace Guan

    Transactional Tax Associate, DLA Piper

    Grace Guan received her LL.B from China University of Political Science and Law and her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She began her professional life as a clerk for the Honorable James M. Carr in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She most recently worked at Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC as a commercial bankruptcy lawyer. Grace is passionate about tax law as it is intellectually challenging and plays an important role in both consumer and commercial context.

  • Konul Guliyeva

    Senior Associate International Tax, PwC

    Konul Guliyeva is a manager in PwC Azerbaijan’s tax and legal services department with more than nine years of experience in tax consulting. Her client portfolio includes multinational companies, local holdings, state owned enterprises and government organizations. Apart from her professional activity in PwC, she is also actively contributing to her country’s economic development through her inputs related to tax and customs environment to the World Bank’s Doing Business Report on annual basis, delivers regular seminars to businesses and students on various topics of corporate law, and is a member of legal professionals working group of American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan. 

  • Xingshuo Liu

    Transactional Tax Associate, DLA Piper

    Xingshuo Liu received her J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law in 2015. She also holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Illinois Institute of Technology. She is an active member of the New York Bar. She spent her last few years in Southern California in her real estate investment business and has some experience in immigration law. Xingshou speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and has extensive international experience in the U.S., China, and New Zealand.

  • Vladimir L’Ouverture

    Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Associate, PwC

    Vladimir L’Ouverture received his J.D. at the University of New Mexico in 2019. Prior to this, he received his M.A. in political science in 2016, also at the University of New Mexico, focusing on international relations and American politics. His studies and work experience have mostly been focused around social justice, and he hopes to bring this aspect to his work as a tax attorney. 

  • Kathryn Peyton

    International Tax Associate, KPMG

    Kathryn Peyton received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in May of 2019. While in law school, she worked at an estate planning firm for a year where she assisted in wealth planning matters. Additionally, she volunteered at Pepperdine’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic where she helped clients resolve tax controversies. Kathryn was awarded the Scott H. Racine Award for Excellence in the Study of Taxation, which is awarded to Pepperdine School of Law graduates who excel in the study of taxation and plan to pursue a career practicing tax law.

  • Jake Trinh

    Tax Staff Associate, EY

    Jake Trinh completed his J.D. with honors at the University of La Verne College of Law in 2019. He served as a judicial extern at the Orange County Superior Court, was a teaching assistant, and worked as a law clerk at Ling Law Group, APC. Jake enjoys reading, Chinese martial arts, basketball, and traveling. 

  • Xavier Webb

    Tax Associate, EY

    Xavier Webb earned his bachelor’s of science degree in political science at North Carolina State University in 2015. Recently, he completed his J.D. at UCI Law in 2019. His tax experience includes working at the Office of Chief Counsel, Laguna Niguel, and a highly regarded boutique tax controversy firm. Xavier looks forward to expanding his experience within the tax field by working in a transactional taxation role. Prior to law school, he played basketball in Istanbul, Turkey. He is conversant in German and Turkish.
