Emma Steiner, UCI Law ’24, Awarded Peggy Browning Fellowship

The University of California, Irvine School of Law (UCI Law) is proud to announce Emma Steiner, UCI Law ‘24 was awarded a prestigious, highly competitive Peggy Browning Fellowship. The Peggy Browning Fellowship Program provides stipends to law students who dedicate their summer to advancing the cause of workers' rights by working for labor unions, worker centers, labor-related not-for-profit organizations, union-side law firms and other nonprofit organizations. 

Emma will spend the summer working for Legal Aid at Work, working in its Gender Equity program in San Francisco. Emma is one of UCI Law’s two Public Service Scholars from the class of 2024.

At UCI Law, Emma has participated in Pro Bono legal services with Bet Tzedek’s Employment Rights Project and Public Council’s Mobile Homeowner Advocacy.
