Prof. Bob Solomon Discusses Cannabis Law at the 2019 CannMed Conference
UCI Law Professor and Co-Chair of UCI Center for the Study of Cannabis Bob Solomon, whose research focuses on best practices in regulating cannabis, taxing cannabis and organizing cannabis business, spoke at the 2019 CannMed Conference. During the panel, titled “Prioritizing Cannabis Education & Its Implementation into Medical Schools,” Solomon discussed the elements of law that come into play when trying to incorporate cannabis into medical schools and the education system.
“I don’t see cannabis law as being any different than say sports law, or entertainment law — it’s a specialized field, where we have specialized knowledge,” said Solomon.
