Bala Rajaraman

Background:

Bala is an US International Tax Services partner with PwC and serves clients primarily in the Southern California & Phoenix markets. He has approximately 25 years of experience serving US public and privately-held companies as well as foreign-parented businesses from Asia, Canada, and Europe. 

Bala’s areas of focus include foreign and U.S. business expansion, cross-border structuring and M&A, foreign tax credit management, GILTI, BEAT and FDII optimization, supply-chain and IP structuring, permanent establishment issues and cash deployment planning.  His clients include companies in the consumer products, E&C, energy, entertainment, hi-tech, life sciences, manufacturing and retail sectors.

Bala is a member of the AICPA and is licensed in California and Texas.  He has a Masters Degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the University of Madras, India.  Bala received an Elijah Watt Sells award from the AICPA for his performance on the CPA exam.
