Background:

Jesse Gessin is trial counsel for businesses and individuals in both civil and criminal matters. In civil cases, Jesse focuses on bringing cases to trial after years of litigation by other attorneys. Jesse has handled hundreds of criminal matters at all phases of litigation. He has been lead counsel in over twenty federal felony jury trials to verdict and achieved dismissal, acquittal, mistrial, or reversal on appeal in over seventy percent of those trials, twenty-five percent ending in total acquittal. His acquittal rate far eclipses the national average.
Prior to forming Gessin Ltd, Jesse was a partner in a nationally recognized business trial boutique law firm. Before then, for close to a decade, he was a deputy federal public defender in the Virgin Islands and Orange County.

Jesse holds a legal specialization in criminal law from the California State Bar and is a graduate of George Washington University Law School and the University of California, San Diego.
