Yunah Chung

Background:

Yunah Chung teaches legal writing to LL.M. students. She is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Alaska, where she prosecutes federal crimes. Previously, she was a Deputy Attorney General at the California Attorney General’s Office, a litigation associate at the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers, LLP, and a law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Chung received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from Yonsei University in South Korea. Before entering the legal field, she earned a master’s degree in social welfare from UCLA and worked as a clinical therapist at a community mental health agency in South Los Angeles.
