After graduating from UC Berkeley School of Law, Angie Kang began her legal career in the corporate department of Latham & Watkins in 2008. Having represented numerous start-up and technology companies, Angie decided to join the internet-based media company, Hulu, in late 2011. Since then, Angie has been promoted to Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, and has led numerous deals that have built out Hulu’s content library to include some of the most in-demand, premium content in the market.

In addition to licensing rights on the acquisitions side, Angie also led all major deals for Hulu’s original series, including for the Emmy-nominated series, The Handmaid’s Tale and Casual. Angie has also led efforts to lock in content providers for Hulu’s new livestreaming service. Angie’s role and accomplishments go beyond writing terms and negotiating contracts – she has also been instrumental in rating all of Hulu’s original content and creating standards and practices for these new media series. She has been a board member of the TV Online Monitoring Board since 2014.
