Meet Ivy:
Hi my name is Ivy Koester. I am a born-and-raised Los Angeles local.

Who I am: A beach girl in my heart of hearts! I love being outdoors, last minute adventures, the show Psych (you should watch it), my friends, and all the little bits of joy in the world!

Summer jobs: During my 1L summer I interned in-house at a large tech/gaming company that is dual based in the US and Singapore. As my 2L summer approaches, I have accepted a position to work at a big law firm as a labor and employment summer associate.

Why I love UC Irvine Law: There is a place for everyone here to be happy and successful. Law school can feel intimidating, and trying to fit in while also doing well can be a struggle. But, from my experience and what I have seen, UC Irvine will make sure you have the tools to do well. Also, UC Irvine admits other great students like you, with whom you will be great friends. Not to mention, every professor I've had has been great at their job. On the bad days and good days, you will feel like you belong here. In my opinion, if you're going to make a three-year commitment, you should commit to somewhere where you can be happy and become a great lawyer.

Please reach out! I would love to help you in any way I can.
