UCI Law Announces Title Sponsorship for Annual Tax Symposium

IRVINE, Calif. – Feb. 5, 2019 – The University of California, Irvine School of Law is delighted to announce the Law Offices of A. Lavar Taylor will be the title supporter for the annual tax symposium presented by the UCI Law Graduate Tax Program. The newly named UCI-A. Lavar Taylor Tax Symposium will be the premier tax law professional development and networking event for tax professionals, tax attorneys, students, journalists and academics in Southern California. The first annual one-day symposium on "Tax Reform: One Year Later" will take place on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at UCI, and will showcase informative discussions addressing tax professionals' most pressing needs and challenges under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). The program is accepting applications for admission to the inaugural class, with students matriculating in the fall of 2019.
