Kyoolee Park, a 2020 UCI Law J.D. graduate who also completed the Graduate Tax Program in December, is the first Tax LL.M. graduate to obtain a clerkship with the U.S. Tax Court. She began clerking for Judge Christian Weiler in January 2021 and will be in the role for two years.

“We're immensely proud of Kyoolee for landing this very competitive clerkship, and hope it is the first among many,” said Omri Marian, Academic Director of UCI Law’s Graduate Tax Program.

The UCI Law Graduate Tax Program opened its doors in 2018, with students matriculating in the fall of 2019. It is the No. 1 graduate tax program on the west coast (tied) and is ranked No. 5 nationwide among law schools with a graduate tax program, according to TaxProf Blog’s ranking based on U.S. News & World Report data.
