UCI Celebrates Inaugural Latino Excellence and Achievement Dinner
UCI hosted the inaugural Latino Excellence and Achievement Dinner (LEAD) on April 5, 2018, recognizing faculty, staff and alumni who have accomplished academic and professional achievements in the UCI Latino community. UCI Law Professor Alex Camacho helped plan the event and third-year student, Melissa Adams, was recognized for her leadership. More than 100 people were in attendance, and students from more than 10 different UCI colleges were recognized.
