Christopher Whytock promoted

Congratulations to Prof. Whytock for his promotion to full professor and tenure, effective July 1, 2012. Prof. Whytock, who also has a faculty appointment in Political Science, is an expert in transnational litigation and international law. He is teaching a first-year course this semester in International Legal Analysis as well as a political science course on Law and World Politics. In addition, he is advising UCI Law's inaugural Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team, and just hosted a symposium on Human Rights Litigation in State Courts and Under State Law. He also recently published articles on the forum non conveniens doctrine and the enforcement of foreign judgments in the Columbia Law Review, and on transnational forum shopping in the Cornell Law Review.
