Background:

Frank is the Vice President, Global Tax, at Edwards Lifesciences, a US medical device company based in Irvine, California. He has been in the Corporate Tax department of Edwards Lifesciences for over 18 years, in roles of increasing responsibility. From 1997 to 2003, he worked at El Paso Energy in Houston, Texas in the international section of the Corporate Tax department. He began his career with a public accounting firm in San Jose, California and Houston, Texas.

Frank has over 30 years of experience in US income tax, primarily in the outbound corporate tax area. In his current role, he directs US federal and state tax compliance, US GAAP income tax accounting,  tax audit controversies and tax planning, including M&A and supply chain projects. He also manages the transfer pricing group and is deeply involved in tax technology transformations. He is active in US government affairs work related to US federal income tax legislation and regulation.

Frank earned a Master of Taxation degree from Baylor University in 1989.
