Background:

Christine V. Luu is currently a director of business affairs at NBCUniversal, where she negotiates deals in connection with the development and series production of scripted and unscripted programs. Previously, she worked as a director of business affairs at DC Comics--a WarnerMedia company, as a senior manager of legal affairs at Pilgrim Media Group--a Lionsgate company, and as an intellectual property litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. After law school, Luu served as a judicial law clerk for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Luu received her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she graduated with Pro Bono Honors, served as a staff editor and style editor of the UC Irvine Law Review, and led the Student Bar Association as its second-ever Chair. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University's Columbia College.
