Background:

Adam Cowing is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and teaches in the Community and Economic Development Clinic at UCI Law. Before coming to UCI Law, Professor Cowing was a fellow and lecturer at Yale Law School, where he taught in the Community and Economic Development Clinic.

Prior to teaching, Professor Cowing worked at Bocarsly Emden Cowan Esmail & Arndt LLP, a law firm specializing in affordable housing and community development law. He also served as a staff attorney at Public Counsel in Los Angeles, where he represented low-income tenants and tenant organizers. Before law school, Professor Cowing worked on political campaigns.
