Mindy N. Friedman, J.D., M.P.H., is a co-founder of Fireside Consulting, where she advises public agencies, funders, and nonprofit organizations on data strategy and evaluation. She began her career as a civil rights attorney at New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and has since led evaluation and data strategy efforts for more than 100 programs.
Her work includes a coordinated entry planning project for Orange County’s civil legal aid providers and Mental Health Services Act compliance assessments across three California counties. Mindy’s current interests include exploring what deliberately built data capacity could look like for the defense.
