UC Irvine Law is launching the In-House Counsel Certificate Program, From Lawyer to Leader: Road to the GC Seat, in collaboration with UC Irvine’s Division of Continuing Education, a new 12-week online program starting this August.

Built for junior and mid-level law firm attorneys seeking in-house positions, and in-house attorneys seeking to advance into senior in-house leadership roles, the program delivers:

  • Sessions with seasoned General Counsel, CPAs, and corporate executives from industries such as healthcare, technology, entertainment, consumer goods, mortgages, and finance;
  • Topics that cover strategic business advising and corporate governance, team building and in-house management skills, financial acumen, ethics and compliance, and crisis management; and
  • Synchronous instruction sessions that foster meaningful networking while allowing participants to actively engage with course concepts in real time.
