About KLAP

KLAP is a longitudinal study consisting of narratives and survey data that traces the career trajectories of lawyers of Korean descent who were educated and/or licensed in the United States. 

KLAP is led by the Korea Law Center's Faculty Director Sung Eun ("Summer") Kim

KLAP's Mission

  • Gain insight into the landscape of Korean lawyers across sectors, generations, gender identities, and more. 
  • Analysis of how Korean lawyers shape and are impacted by the U.S. legal profession and education system. 
  • Celebration of the accomplishments of Korean lawyers and their contributions to the legal profession. 
  • Contribution to the success of the future generation of Korean legal professionals.
