Ronnie Galvin
Vice-President of Engaged Practice, Democracy Collaborative
Ronnie Galvin, is the Vice-President of Engaged Practice at the Democracy Collaborative. The Collaborative engages in on the ground campaigns to establish a new economic system where shared ownership and community control creates more equitable outcomes and promotes flourishing democratic and community life. Ronnie brings the lenses of African-Centered Spirituality and community organizing to his work. He is currently initiating an effort to re-ground practices of community wealth building in the contexts of Black communities and the traditions of Black faith and Black radicalism. His partner, Dr. Yanique Redwood is the President at The Consumer Health Foundation in Washington, DC.
