Meet Sarah:
Hi everyone! I’m a second-year law student and Admissions Ambassador here at UC Irvine Law, and I’m really looking forward to connecting with prospective students and sharing why I chose UC Irvine—and why I’m so glad I did.

What initially drew me to UC Irvine Law was its reputation for experiential learning. I wanted more than lectures and casebooks—I wanted to be in clinics, do pro bono work, and start developing real legal skills early on. That’s exactly what UC Irvine offers. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to learn by doing, to make mistakes, and to grow through meaningful work with real-world impact.

Attending Admitted Students Weekend was what ultimately solidified my decision. The community I encountered—students, professors, alumni—felt authentic, warm, and deeply invested in one another’s success. That welcoming atmosphere wasn’t just for show—it’s embedded in the culture of the school. As a student, I seen that support system in action every single day. The professors are not only brilliant but also truly present—they care about who we are as people, not just as students.

Being at UC Irvine Law has been more rewarding than I ever imagined. It’s a place where I feel both challenged and grounded, and I’m so thankful to be part of this community. I hope I can help make your law school search a little easier by sharing what makes this place so special.
