This Application Form is designed to assist the SSBC at the University of California, Irvine School of Law in making an initial evaluation of potential clients, which the Clinic will use in assessing the suitability of potential clients. Communication of information through this form or website does not create or constitute an attorney-client relationship.
The Clinic cannot counsel or represent you in an attorney-client relationship until: (a) we know that doing so will not create a conflict of interest; (b) the Clinic has fully evaluated your request for legal assistance; and (c) you have signed the Clinic’s Retainer Agreement. The Clinic has sole discretion as to which applications it reviews, accepts, or rejects.
Though we will keep your information confidential, disclosure of information contained in this Application Form or otherwise shared by you may be required in a court of law or other legal process. Please do not provide any confidential or sensitive information about your legal needs on this Application Form or send any confidential or sensitive information about your legal needs to the Clinic unless the Clinic has explicitly requested you do so.
SSBC does not do any intellectual property, tax, or litigation.
