WHAT: UC Irvine School of Law’s Center for Biotechnology & Global Health Policy will host a special lecture by Prof. Dale Carpenter, on the U.S. Supreme Court and Same Sex Marriage: Reflections on Power, Privacy and Equality.

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, 12:00-1:30 p.m.

WHO: Dale Carpenter is Distinguished University Teaching Professor and the Earl R. Larson Professor of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law at University of Minnesota Law School. He is also author of the 2012 New York Times Notable book, Flagrant Conduct: The Story of Lawrence v. Texas, a detailed account of the landmark Supreme Court decision that invalidated America’s sodomy laws.
