The documentary Eyes on the Prize—Mississippi: Is This America? 1963-1964 will be screened, and Dr. Gordon and UCI Law Professor Michele Goodwin will consider whether and how that profound legacy currently impacts how people of color encounter the open road and “Driving While Black.”

WHO: Dr. Fon Gordon is an Associate Professor of History at University of Central Florida.
