UCI Law, Jay Austin nominated for CLEO Diversity Awards

Jay Austin, Assistant Dean for Admissions & Student Financial Services; Cassandra Sneed Ogden, Chief Executive Officer, CLEO Inc,; and Kent Lollis  Executive Director for Diversity Initiatives, Law School Admissions Council (LSAC).

The Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. (CLEO) nominated UCI Law and Jay Austin, assistant dean for admissions and student financial services, for a Diversity Award at its Diversity Reception on June 5 in San Francisco.

CLEO will honor 50 individuals, law schools, and legal organizations that have made significant accomplishments or demonstrated commitments to diversity in the legal profession. Winners will be announced at CLEO’s 50th Anniversary gala in Washington, D.C. on November 15.

Austin is one of 118 individuals nominated. UCI Law is one of 29 law schools nominated.

CLEO also will honor 50 individuals, law schools, and legal organizations in the areas of Education and Greater Equality.
