As part of Embrace Unity's remembrance week commemorating the 25th anniversary of the LA Riots, the Korea Law Center hosted a forum where invited speakers and the audience came together to remember Saigu, regarded as a watershed moment for many Korean Americans. The goal of the forum was to better understand the LA Riots of 1992 and to facilitate dialogue between different groups and generations. We heard from speakers about the legal, economic, cultural, and political structures which explain, and the changes which followed Saigu, and assessments of how far we have come in the twenty-five years since April 1992.
