Brettny Hardy works in San Francisco as a staff attorney at Earthjustice, focusing on litigation to stop the expansion of oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico. She first joined Earthjustice with the Alaska regional office in 2012, where she worked for three years before joining the Oceans Program. Hardy received her J.D. from the Duke University School of Law in 2007. She also holds a master’s degree in environmental management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. She graduated from Pomona College where she earned a B.S. in biology.
