I am delighted to welcome you, on behalf of the Admissions Office at the University of California, Irvine, School of Law. UCI Law combines the best of tradition and innovation in order to create the finest legal education and training for lawyers in the 21st Century.

I invite you to explore thoroughly UCI Law’s web site. Here you will come to know our Inaugural Class (the class of 2012), you will learn about our innovative curriculum and the opportunities for cross-disciplinary studies, and you will meet our terrific staff and the talented faculty and administrators who have come to us from top-tier law schools.

At UCI Law, I oversee the five offices that are central to applicants and current students: the Admissions Office, the Financial Aid Office, the Registrar’s Office, the Students Services Office, and the Career Development Office.

All offices under Students Services are guided by a philosophy of student-centeredness, which is informed by the following goals:

  • To provide our law students with a supportive infrastructure that will enhance an engaged and transformative learning experience.
  • To link the services provided to our students to the experiential learning taking place in the classroom, modeling for them the type of relationships we hope they will develop with their clients in the world of practice.
  • To create an environment for our students that will support the Law School’s goal of training lawyers for the 21st century, by encouraging them to develop into critical thinkers and agents of change, through modeling a leadership practice that embodies self-awareness, personal responsibility, and integrity.
