The University of California, Irvine School of Law Library serves as the intellectual heart of the Law School community, providing access to an array of primary and secondary materials selected to support the developing curriculum and scholarship of the newly founded school.
The Law Library also seeks to provide a peaceful, comfortable environment for research, study, and intellectual engagement. The Library’s collection of framed, brush-stroke reproduction images of California Impressionist paintings, a generous loan from The Irvine Museum, enhances the space and ties the Law School firmly to the Southern California tradition.
Greetings to the inaugural class of 2012, and welcome to the University of California, Irvine School of Law Library!
We have all of the print and electronic resources you need now to begin your law school experience, from study aids to cases and statutes.
We have a beautiful, peaceful space designed to provide you with an energizing, stress-reducing environment in which to think and to learn.
Our small staff is eager to work with you and answer all of your legal information questions.
The Law Library is still a work in progress, and you will be able to watch the Library grow and change around you as we hire staff, purchase collections, add electronic resources, and continually upgrade our technologies.
So please come in! Sit in our rocking chairs, talk to our staff, use our resources, and make the Law Library an integral part of your life at UCI Law School. We look forward to it!
