Black Law Students Association (BLSA)

The Black Law Students Association at UC Irvine School of Law is an organization open to all UCI law students and is committed to working with all student organizations, the law school administration, and our local Orange County communities, including these active organizations. The mission of the BLSA is to reach out to youth, increase enrollment of Black students and recruitment of Black faculty, connect with Black legal professionals, and contribute to the law school and Orange County at large. We will achieve our mission by organizing educational programs, community outreach, professional development workshops, cultural and political events, and mentorship opportunities. We strive to create connections and a sense of family for African and African American students within the UC Irvine community.
