Meet Romina:
I’ve always had an interest in the intersection of technology and law, so learning that there is a very large (and continuously growing) market for lawyers working in the tech industry, congruent with my passion for helping others, is what propelled my journey to law school!

UCI Law has done a wonderful job showcasing that there is so much to discover when learning about the different practice areas and industries you can get involved in as a lawyer. It really comes down to asking yourself what you would be excited/passionate about doing with your J.D., and utilizing the vast resources we have at the law school to delve into each of those interests.

Our school is unique for all the right reasons! Location wise, we are so close to the beach and wonderful food/coffee shops, we’re in-between San Diego and Los Angeles, and Disneyland is only about a 20 minute drive from campus! Campus wise, there are a plethora of study spots in the law school and main campus, we have a gorgeous park in the middle of main campus, and there are a ton of resources the school promotes to help its students succeed. Cohort wise, I believe our admissions team at UCI has done a really fantastic job choosing law students that are like minded, and here is what I mean by that- law school can be a very competitive environment, but at UCI Law, our peers truly just want to see everyone succeed. We’re collaborative, willing/eager to support one another, and understanding that there is more to life than law school.

Law school can be tough, but there are so many resources available that can make the rollercoaster ride to law school, through law school, and after law school, a smoother ride. Please do not hesitate to utilize those resources because trust me, they make a big difference!
