Meet Iviana:
After UCI Law I plan on working at the Imperial County District Attorney's Office. I have always wanted to be a lawyer, but at just 5 years old my motivations were based on money and status. I originally wanted to be a defense attorney; however, my choice to join the prosecution was prompted by the externship program offered through UCI. I really enjoyed my summer externship and urge others to participate. I was able to write briefs that were looked over and ultimately passed directly to the judges after being approved by my supervisors.

I am originally from San Diego and spent a few years in Davis. In order to maintain a school/work life balance I try new restaurants and travel with my partner when we have the time to do so. Our favorite trip so far was to Mexico City and our next big trip is to Japan!
