Meet Adriana:
I chose UCI Law because of its community-centered approach to lawyering, as well as its dedication to experiential learning. As a first-generation student and immigrant, I know the value of mentorship and support, and I hope that I can provide this help to future students. Starting law school can be daunting, especially as a first-generation student. The UCI Law community, however, alleviates many of these pressures by caring for students holistically.

I became an Admissions Ambassador to contribute to this mission of greater access to legal education by sharing my experience and knowledge with others in the hopes that other individuals can pursue their goals at UCI Law. I am excited to show others how UCI Law can provide excellent legal education and a supportive, interactive community. Although there are many characteristics that make UCI Law unique, one of my favorite aspects is the community-centered approach that UCI Law takes in academics, pro bono projects, professional development, and more. It is inspiring to see faculty, staff, and students constantly consider and analyze how the law can impact marginalized communities and society at large.

I look forward to utilizing the lessons, experiences, and skills that UCI Law has given me to assist underprivileged communities and individuals as a future public interest attorney
