The Office of Communications and Public Affairs handles a variety of issues for the Law School, including news media inquiries, public relations, marketing and promotions, event publicity and calendars, external and internal communications, websites, social media, brochures and other print publications, photo requests, direct mail, newsletters, advertising, law school and faculty rankings, electronic displays, bulletin boards, signage, merchandise, videotaping, branding and graphic identity standards.

Rex Bossert was the editor-in-chief of The National Law Journal in New York from 2004 to 2008. Before that he served as the managing editor of the New York Law Journal, associate editor of The National Law Journal, and federal courts reporter for the Daily Journal in San Francisco. Born in Minneapolis, Bossert earned a B.A. in English from Carleton College, a J.D. from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in English from Stanford University.

Iris Yokoi is a 20-year veteran reporter and editor at various Southern California newspapers, including the Orange County Register, Long Beach Press-Telegram and Los Angeles Times. Highlights of those years include reporting on the rebuilding efforts in central Los Angeles after the 1992 riots; directing coverage of the dynamic Vietnamese-American community of Orange County; and leading the launch and development of an entertainment/lifestyle web site, SqueezeOC.com. The Southern California native is a graduate of Pepperdine University.
