The UCI Law Library lends materials to:

  • US Academic Libraries
  • CA Public Libraries
  • Government Libraries
  • Law Libraries (not including law firms or for-profit institutions)

OCLC is our preferred request format. We also accept requests by ALA form and email.

We do not lend: loose-leafs, e-books, library use only, or non-circulating materials.

The UCI Law Library has reciprocal borrowing with NLEX affiliates, CA academic, and CA public libraries.

Charges for other institutions:

  • $15 for loans and copies to US Libraries
  • $20 for copies to International Libraries
  • Lost or damaged books: Current replacement cost of book + $20 processing fee
  • Copies over 50 pages include an additional per-page charge. Copies are sent via AE (Article Exchange) or email.

We accept payment via IFM.
