Orange County Lawyer Magazine - Student Externship Position: The Orange County Bar Association is seeking 2-3 students to extern with the Orange County Lawyer Magazine. The position is a 6-month commitment for 10 hours a month. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Review LEO posting for more information on eligibility and submission requirements.
Announcement Reminders

2025-2026 Inclusion Book Scholarship Application: Laughlin, Falbo, Levy, & Moresi LLP is awarding $500 scholarships to law students who are interested in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Application requires a one-page essay (300-400 words) about yourself and why you believe diversity, equity, & inclusion are important to the legal profession and resume. Deadline for submission is August 15. Review LEO posting for additional information and application.

Student Reporters for the CA Lawyers Association's Law School Deans Panel; Sept 11-13; Universal City, CA: The CA Lawyers Association (CLA) is seeking applications from current law students to serve as Student Reporters for the CLA Annual Meeting to keep members up to date on laws, news, and issues of interest CLA-wide. CLA membership is free for law students. Application deadline is July 21. Review CLA website for more information on eligibility and submission.

American Immigration Lawyers Association - Editorial Fellow Application: The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is seeking applications from current law students for their Editorial Fellow position with the AILA Law Journal. Application deadline is July 19. Review AILA website for more information on eligibility and application instructions.

Know Your Rights:  Please refer to the information in this Know Your Rights guide provided by UCOP for immigrant legal services. Copies have been posted on the student bulletin boards within the Law School and pocket/wallet-sized cards are available for pickup in the Student Affairs and Student Services Suite (MPAA 210).  The suite also has red cards available from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center.
