Student Health Center's COVID Information: Promoting a healthy environment at UCI Law is a collective effort of everyone in our community—students, staff, and faculty. Your individual choices directly affect the well-being of others. You should be familiar with and follow the guidelines outlined on the Student Health Center’s COVID Information and Updates page (https://shc.uci.edu/covid-information-and-updates), which includes information about COVID symptoms and what do if you test positive or think you might have been a close contact. You should also be alert for and follow any additional UCI public health policies that may be announced from time to time.
Please do not come to class if you are feeling sick or exhibiting COVID symptoms. Instructors have been strongly encouraged to provide access to class recordings for students who miss a class session for this reason. Please consult your instructor’s syllabus for more information and ask your instructor if you have questions.
UCI Law Reunion: Alumni & Student Mixer: Please join the Class of 2013 and 2018 as they return to campus to celebrate their 10- and 5- year Reunion on Saturday, September 9th at 5:00pm! To attend, RSVP by September 4th. Alumni will be invited on a walking tour of the campus during the mixer at 5:15pm, for those interested in participating!
Courtyard Furniture Reminder: To avoid possible damage to the furniture or concrete, continue to be ADA compliant, and for your own safety, please do not move any of the courtyard furniture.
Student Wellness Room: is now open and can be accessed Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:45pm in the Dean's Suite! Schedule a massage chair appointment on the Student Portal, under Wellness & Inclusivity. A deep tissue massager is also available for check-out at the front desk.
2Ls & 3Ls: The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP): This free recruitment and referral program connects federal and private sector employers nationwide with highly motivated students with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs. 1Ls: Success in Law School Mentoring Program: The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) offers this mentoring program for diverse first year students to receive attentive, personal mentoring from attorneys at the most prestigious law firms and corporate legal departments. Registration is now open!
Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Law Student Membership: As a member of the OCBA, students can connect with the legal community by attending an array of OCBA social events and community outreach activities. Members are encouraged to participate in one of the Specialty Sections that focus on professional growth and are a great resource to explore various areas of law. Please contact OCBA for more information.
Federal Bar Association - Free Membership for Students: This includes up to three years of associate membership while enrolled in law school as well as free first year membership as a professional member upon graduation. Learn more about this program here and apply today!
