3Ls: Academic Skills Program Upcoming Events:
- Please complete this short, 2-minute survey to assist ASP in creating customized bar prep programming. The survey will close on Friday, September 1st at 5:00pm.
- Pre-Bar Prep Planning Workshop: will be held on Wednesday, August 30th from 12:00 to 1:00pm in EDU 1111 and on Zoom to discuss the administrative tasks you need to complete now to sit for the bar exam, information about the content and format of the bar exam, and a preview of bar prep. If you plan on sitting for the bar exam in February 2024, July 2024, or February 2025, we highly encourage you to attend this presentation! Please RSVP for lunch by Sunday, August 27th at 11:59pm.
- Bar Vendor Fair: will be held on Wednesday, August 30th from 10:00am to 3:00m in the Law Courtyard, where you can get more information on bar prep courses offered by BARBRI, Helix Bar Review, Kaplan Bar Review, and Themis Bar Review.
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Ms. JD's Leadership Academy Intensive: This two-day Intensive will be held on September 8th-9th at Pepperdine University School of Law and will provide valuable insights into navigating the legal industry and developing the leadership skills necessary for success. Apply to attend today!
3Ls: 2023 Kentucky Defender Career Fest: The Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy (DPA) will be hosting this career fair on Saturday, September 23rd and Saturday, October 7th for students interested in public defense, public interest, and for those unsure of their interest area in law. DPA will cover the cost of travel, hotel, and meals for those selected to attend. Apply by the August 15th priority deadline.
2Ls & 3Ls: 2023 National Law Students Workers' Rights Conference: The Peggy Browning Fund is offering several scholarships to help students attend on October 13th & 14th at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Philadelphia. For details about the application process, refer to Dean Deol's August 9th email.

ABA Antitrust Section Law Student Ambassador Program: The ABA Section of Antitrust Law is accepting applications for the Law Student Ambassador Program for students interested in careers in antitrust, consumer protection, or privacy. Submit your application by September 15th.
2Ls and 3Ls: 2023 Equal Justice Works Career Fair: This virtual fair will be held on October 12th-14th from 11:00am to 8:00pm. This is the largest public interest career fair in the country, with over fifty employers hiring for post-graduate positions. Registration is now open. Deadline to apply for pre-scheduled interviews is Thursday, September 12th at 3:00pm. Refer to Dean Deol's July 31st email for more details.
