Announcements and Deadlines

UCDC Law Information Session: If you have any interest in participating in UCDC, join UCDC Law Program Director, Nicole Lehtman and current law students on Wednesday, March 1 at 12:00pm in MPAA 430 or virtually for a panel discussion regarding externship opportunities in Washington, DC. RSVP here to attend!

2023 Mental Health Resource Fair: The UCI Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion, Office of Campus Social Work and Counseling Center is hosting this event on Tuesday, February 21st from 11:00am to 2:00pm in the UCI Student Center Pacific Ballrooms. Each student will receive a Mental Health Resource Fair souvenir while also having the opportunity to win raffle prizes! 

UCI Sustainability Resource Center's Annual Sustainival: On and off campus organizations will be in front of the Langson Library on Tuesday, February 28th at 11:00am to 2:00pm  to provide opportunities for students to learn more about what each organization has to offer and how to students can get involved. 

Mediation Class for Beginners: will be held in the Verano Wellness Room, first floor of the Community Center on Monday, February 20th and February 27th from 12:15pm to 12:45pm. Open to all graduate family housing residents and there is no registration necessary.

Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA) Student Representative: OCWLA is dedicated to advancing women in the legal profession by providing a professional network, raising awareness of discrimination and bias, and supporting charitable organizations.  OCWLA is looking to select one student representative from UCI Law who will become part of the OCWLA community that is dedicated to the advancement of its members and have the opportunity to attend various networking and other events throughout the year. The Ruth Badger Ginsburg Scholarship: The Women Lawyers of Los Angeles (WLALA) provides tuition scholarships to law students who have demonstrated a commitment to issues affecting women, children, minorities, or other historically marginalized group and who intend to practice law in or engage in legal work that affects LA County. The deadline to apply for this one-time tuition scholarship of a minimum of $5,000 is April 30th.

Inland Empire Federal Bar Association Law Student Scholarship: Inland Empire Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (IE FBA) will be awarding two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to law students that have a connection to the Inland Empire. The scholarships will be presented at the Judges' Night Gala on March 23rd at the Mission Inn in Riverside. Deadline to apply is March 5th

2023 Commencement: This year's in-person commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 6th! Information regarding the keynote speaker, along with faculty and student speakers, will be announced in March. Please visit our website here to see details regarding tickets and seating, directions and parking, diplomas, reception details, regalia, and more! 

2023 Loyola Chicago Patent Law Interview Program: This two-day interview program is held in Chicago each summer for patent law employers to interview law students for summer positions and post-graduate employment. Register by March 27th.
