This Evening Toast will honor Min Chai, Carol Choi, Susan Choi, Nancy Yun Kim, and Dr. Hye-Won Shin for establishing an endowed fund to support the Korea Law Center at UC Irvine.
The mission of the Center is to promote practical solutions to problems arising at the intersection of U.S. and Korean Law. The Center provides opportunities for students, legal scholars, judges, and prosecutors from South Korea and the United States to work together and learn from each other.
The Friends of the Korea Law Center help to strengthen the Center by creating community awareness, increasing City of Irvine resident involvement, and helping to establish the Center’s credibility within the local business and legal community. Members play a key role in promoting practical solutions to problems that hinder U.S. and Korean business development opportunities.
