Background:

Ray Weston served as a senior international business and legal executive with Yum! Brands, Inc., for twenty years.  He collaborated about strategic global/international brand and business growth across 150+ countries; traveled personally to some 60 countries while serving on global, Latin American, European, and African Leadership Teams; and lived, studied, and worked abroad for more than six years.  He also is a licensed patent lawyer, developing domestic and international IP expertise while exploiting some of the world’s most valuable trademark/IP portfolios.  Early in his career Weston served as a trial lawyer and litigator with a Dallas boutique litigation firm, principally handing IP, complex commercial, and securities/insurance fraud disputes.  Weston earned an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge (England) and a J.D., with honors, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he served as a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif.  His B.S. degree is in Mechanical Engineering.
