Gilbert "Gil" Bradshaw

Background:

Gilbert (“Gil”) Bradshaw, is the managing attorney at Wilson Bradshaw LLP, a boutique corporate and securities law firm with offices in Irvine, California and New York City. 

Gil counsels small to mid-sized public and private companies all over the country positioning themselves for a buyout or merger, venture capital investment, and all types of public and private securities offerings and listings on stock exchanges, such as the OTCQB, NASDAQ, or NYSE, including with cross-listings on other international stock exchanges.  He also assists angel investors and VC firms in selecting and vetting target companies for strategic investment and structuring their exit strategies and assisting their portfolio companies in their growth phases.  Gil also represents individual officers and directors of large public companies fulfill their fiduciary duties and manage their equity incentive plans.  In addition, he also represents companies who are being investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with their securities offerings.

Growing up in Provo, Utah where his father taught evolution at Brigham Young University (claiming he was the lowest paid professor), Gil became a lifelong BYU football fan, and earned both his B.A. in History (with Honors) from BYU in 2004 and his J.D. at the BYU Law School in 2008 (where he studied with his wife).  Later, in 2012, Gil earned an LL.M. in business taxation from the UCLA School of Law. 

Gil began his legal career in New York at one of the largest law firms in New York City and has served as in-house counsel of several companies.  He is licensed to practice law in New York and in the federal tax courts.  Gil is proud of his Chicano roots and speaks fluent Spanish.  He has previously taught securities law and other courses at Whittier Law School and USC Gould School of Law.
