  • Fall Interview Program: The 2016 Fall Interview Program is underway on Symplicity. Employers will schedule interviews with qualified candidates at UCI Law, by phone/skype, or at employer offices throughout September and October. You can access the session through the OCI module on the left side of your screen, and then select the "UCI Law 2016 Fall Interview Program" from the Session dropdown menu. Some upcoming deadlines include: 
    • Alliance for Children's Rights (Los Angeles, CA) - Oct. 21st
    • LA County Bar Association Counsel for Justice, Civic Mediation Project (Los Angeles, CA) - Oct. 21st 
    • United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (Anaheim, CA) - Oct. 28th

  • Marine JAG Information Session: October 19 (Wednesday), 12:00pm - 1:00pm, LAW 3500. Captain Carlos Dubon will visit UCI Law for an informal information session on the U.S. Marine JAG, the benefits of a career with the military, and the different practice areas that Marine JAG Officers encounter. RSVP on Symplicity
  • Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair Huddle: October 20 (Thursday), 12:45pm - 3:00pm, EDU 1000. All students planning to attend the 2016 EJW Conference and Career Fair in Washington DC should stop in to gain valuable insight, chat about the conference, and learn how to access the UCI Law support available throughout the career fair. In addition, you are invited to an evening event hosted by UCI Law alumni in DC! 
  • Patent Bar Exam Information Session: November 9 (Wednesday), 12:00pm - 1:00pm, MPAA 408. If you are a student with an undergrad degree (or at least two years of coursework) in engineering, computer sciences or the hard sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, some related fields), and are interested in becoming a Patent Agent or Attorney, the Practicing Law Institute (PLI) invites you to a presentation by John White, Academic Director of PLI’s Patent Office Exam Course. RSVP on Symplicity

  • OCAABA In-House Committee Path to In-House Speaker Panel: October 19 (Wednesday), 4:30pm-6:00pm, LAW 3750. The Orange County Asian American Association In-House Committee will host a speaker panel on the many paths to becoming an in-house attorney. After the speaker panel, students will have the opportunity to meet and network with the attorneys. Refreshments will be provided.
  • 2016 OCKABA Annual Law Student Dinner Series - Corporate and Transactional: October 19 (Wednesday), 7:00pm. The Korean American Bar Association of Southern California cordially invites you to attend dinner with practicing KABA attorneys. RSVP to kabaconsultant@gmail.com.
  • The Tax Institute at H&R Block Speaking Engagement: October 24 (Monday), 11:30am - 12:30pm, MPAA 120. The Tax Institute at H&R Block will be hiring multiple Tax Researchers for the upcoming tax season.   • Writing Your Federal Resume: October 24 (Monday), 3:00pm-4:30pm, Online Presentation. This presentation explains each section of the Job Opportunity Announcement in an effort to better inform applicants and to assist them in selecting the right job.
