  • Externships & Internships Available Now on Symplicity: Externship Catalog is being replaced...by Symplicity. All active Summer 2016 Externship listings from the Externship Catalog are now in Symplicity, and Fall 2016 Externships will be added to Symplicity in January. The Externship Catalog is no longer being updated.

  • Public Interest/Public Sector Career Day (PICD): February 6 (Saturday), 8:30 am Registration, 9:00am - 5:00pm Career Day, UCLA School of Law. This inter-law-school event, held annually each spring semester, provides law students with the opportunity to participate in a formal interview process for summer employment and to table-talk with participating employers. Representatives from public interest organizations, government agencies and offices, and private public interest firms throughout Southern California will be in attendance. The event also provides a great opportunity to network and learn about the array of public sector employers in our region. During the bidding period prior to the event, students may submit resumes and cover letters through Symplicity to secure interviews at the Career Day. Watch for an email next week with Symplicity instructions and the interview cancellation policy. Plan to have your resume and cover letters reviewed by your primary CDO counselor well in advance of the deadline. There is no advantage to bidding early.
