  • Spring Interview Program: The 2018 Spring Interview Program is underway on Symplicity. Employers will schedule interviews with 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls either at UCI Law, by phone/skype, or at employer offices throughout February and March. You can access the session through the OCI module on the left side of your screen, by selecting the "UCI Law 2018 Spring Interview Program." Some upcoming NOON deadlines include:

CDO Workshops
  • OCAABA IHC Subcommittee/Career Path to In-House Counsel Panel Discussion: February 15 (Thursday), 5:30pm-7:00pm, LAW 3750. The In-House Counsel Committee of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association (“OCAABA IHC”) will present a panel on legal practices, preparations for a career as in-house counsel and related topics.
  • International Human Rights Clinic Summer Internship Information Session: February 20 (Tuesday), 12:00pm-1:00pm, MPAA 420. Students interested in applying for a summer position with the International Human Rights Clinic should attend this information session. Paul Hoffman will speak to students about what to expect as a summer intern with the Clinic. Students submitting application materials as part of the Spring Interview Program (deadline 3/1/18) are strongly encouraged to attend. Paul Hoffman's practice has been in the areas of constitutional and civil rights litigation. He has served with many international human rights organizations, including ACLU Foundation of Southern California, Los Angeles, where he served as Legal Director and the Amnesty International’s International Executive Committee which oversees the their operations throughout the world.

  • 2018 Judicial Clerkship Program - Application Deadline: February 20 (Tuesday), 12:00pm. The 2018 Judicial Clerkship Program is designed to bring judges and minority law students together from April 19-21 in Chicago through structured networking and educational activities that support and foster student applications for judicial clerkships. UCI Law will cover the program tuition for the selected students (funding covers program tuition ONLY, travel and lodging expenses are not included)To apply, send your resume and a 250-word statement of interest covering 1) Why you would like to do a judicial clerkship; and 2) How clerking will further your career goal(s) to Betsy Gutting
  • Brown Rudnick - 1L Spring Happy Hour: February 20 (Tuesday), 5:30pm-6:30pm, Irvine, CA. Brown Rudnick will host a pre-EIW happy hour for students at Eureka! (4143 Campus Drive, Irvine, CA). Please RSVP by Monday, February 19th with a copy of your resume.
  • Find Your Role in Commercial Real Estate Panel: February 20 (Tuesday), 6:00pm-8:00pm, UCI Executive Commons. Hosted by Commercial Real Estate Women Orange County, Real Estate Association at UCI, and the Women in Leadership student organization, this event is a networking opportunity for students interested in pursuing commercial real estate law careers. The panel will be followed by a Q&A, networking, and refreshments. RSVP here

Matthew Byrne, Jr. Judicial Clerkship Institute: March 15-16 (Thursday-Friday), Malibu, CA. Pepperdine School of Law is pleased to invite those who will start a judicial clerkship within the next few years to attend the Judicial Clerkship Institute for a two-day intensive training session led by federal judges and top-notch academics.   • American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law Membership: Law students can sign up for five Sections free of charge in addition to free ABA membership.
