  • Patent Bar Exam Information Session: November 9 (Wednesday), 12:00pm - 1:00pm, MPAA 408. If you are a student with an undergrad degree (or at least two years of coursework) in engineering, computer sciences or the hard sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, some related fields), and are interested in becoming a Patent Agent or Attorney, the Practicing Law Institute (PLI) invites you to a presentation by John White, Academic Director of PLI’s Patent Office Exam Course. RSVP on Symplicity

  • Land Use and Real Estate Society Speaker Panel: November 7 (Monday), 12:00pm - 1:00pm, EDU 1111. Land Use & Real Estate Law and Native American Law Students Association will co-host a panel session with Professors Joseph DiMento, Seth Davis, and Alejandro Camacho. The discussion will focus on issues at the nexus of development control law, economics, and social & public policy.

  • Ogletree Deakins "Managing a Workforce in 2017" Seminar and Reception: November 9 (Wednesday), Costa Mesa. The California offices of Ogletree Deakins invite students to attend the educational seminar on the latest labor and employment law topics impacting California employers.   • Entertainment & Intellectual Property Law Symposium: November 12 (Saturday), 9:00am-1:00pm, Southwestern Law School. Law students from around Southern California are invited to attend the Annual Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law Symposium to hear about a "day in the life" of Entertainment and IP attorneys and how to break into the field. RSVP to Jon Trujillo.
  • Volunteer Legal Internships with the U.S. Department of Justice: November 17 (Thursday) 12:00pm and November 30 (Wednesday) 9:00am, Webinar. This 30 minute session will explain the Department of Justice's Volunteer Legal Internship Program, application process, and address questions about opportunities.
