CDO Workshops
  • Patent Bar Exam Information Session: November 9 (Wednesday), 12:00pm - 1:00pm, MPAA 408. If you are a student with an undergrad degree (or at least two years of coursework) in engineering, computer sciences or the hard sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, some related fields), and are interested in becoming a Patent Agent or Attorney, the Practicing Law Institute (PLI) invites you to a presentation by John White, Academic Director of PLI’s Patent Office Exam Course. RSVP on Symplicity
Opportunities
  • Halloween Bash Fundraiser: October 28 (Friday), 6pm, The Randy Higbee Gallery. The Lavendar Bar Association of Orange County and Public Law Center host this annual event. EVERYONE will be in costume, with an Apple Watch for the best costume. Free food, drinks, music, a photo booth and psychics are all included in the event price. The first 20 students to register here will get $5 tickets courtesy of the OCLBA. PLC will subsidize 25 student tickets at $25 each here (check the top most recent post of instructions).  
  • 2016 KABA Annual Law Student Dinner Series - Litigation: November 2 (Wednesday), 7:00pm, Los Angeles. The Korean American Bar Association of Southern California cordially invites you to attend dinner with practicing KABA attorneys. RSVP here. 
  • Entertainment & Intellectual Property Law Symposium: November 12 (Saturday), 9:00am-1:00pm, Southwestern Law School. Law students from around Southern California are invited to attend the Annual Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law Symposium to hear about a "day in the life" of Entertainment and IP attorneys and how to break into the field. RSVP to Jon Trujillo.
