Graduate Student Survey: UCI is currently conducting a study of our graduate programs and it is designed for all graduate and professional students. They want to make sure law student voices are heard, so we encourage you to complete this survey by Monday, May 9. You will recieve a $10 gift card for submitting and will be entered into a drawing for an additional $100 gift.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month: Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. During May, help raise awareness about mental health and help seeking behaviors. UCI Counseling Center programs will be listed below.
Class of 2023 - Judicial Clerkships: Are you interested in applying for judicial clerkships? If you haven’t already done so, schedule a clerkship advising appointment with John Arden in LEO.
Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair: will be held in-person in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 through Friday, July 29, 2022 (interviews are held on Friday, July 29) for rising 2Ls and 3Ls. Registration is now open. In the past, pre-registration closes about a week before the conference (specific date TBD) but earlier registration highly recommended. Boston Lawyers Group 2022 Annual Diversity Job Fair: The BLG Annual Diversity Job Fair for Law Students of Color will take place virtually on July 22, 2022. It is designed to offer rising 2L students opportunities for 2023 Summer Associate positions. Registration is open now.
2022 Bay Area Diversity Career Fair: This annual career fair will take place July 22-23 and brings together prominent law firms and government legal departments in the San Francisco Bay Area with highly qualified diverse second-year law students. Registration is open now.
2022 Ms. JD Law Student Leadership Academy: Rising 2L and 3Ls are welcome to attend this two-day virtual conference from June 23-24. This event will prepare you to lead and thrive in law school and your future careers in the legal profession through professional skill-building, educational workshops, and empowering discussions. Registration is free and open now.
Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee: The deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, May 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. NAC members act as Equal Justice Works ambassadors within the law school and legal services communities, and help bridge the gap between law school and the public interest field.
